In this note Raizel discloses how much she misses her sister even if they did not get along prior to Sala's departure for the camp. Raizel writes that she is "heartsick at the thought of the holidays" because Sala will spend them in the camp rather than with her family. She continues "I remember so many things, our argument. But all of that is forgotten. How much I want to see you." Raizel also mentions a forthcomming long letter that she feels unable to finish until she can meet with Ala. But she does not describe the letter further

Ala isn't writing to SOS. Complains that Sala doesn't write about herself. Everyone thinks you're coming home but you don't mention it.

You alone know how best to spend your time, we have a "half life" no matzo, only for privileged folks, not like us. Thanks for money you sent, mother asks for forgiveness for not sending matzo, don't cry.

Thank God you still have somebody to write to with the way things are going on here. Remember how lucky you are. Many envy you because you have work.

Nerves completely wrecked. Trying to get them back together. Sent her parcel. Dearest little bride.
