diary
This excerpt from Sala's diary begins with leaving the station for Geppersdorf. Sala attempts to encapsulate her sadness at saying goodbye to her friends and family. Writing, "Remember me... I got what I wanted," Sala suggests that she is excited for an upcoming adventure.

Similar to her other panic-filled letters, Raizel appeals to Sala to send a note with some news about her condition. As in other letters, she notes that the family seems to revolve its life around hearing from Raizel, and looking after her.

Raizel writes that the family is sending Sala a smaller-than-usual package because of the "dire straights" surrounding the family. She says that they recently received 4 RM 20 PF (from the community?). Raizel continues that she found out that Sala is supposed to earn 20 PF per day, but seems to only earn 15 PF every four weeks, and asks Sala to tell her exactly how much she makes. Also, their mother remains in a sickly state, and Raizel says that a visit by Sala will undoubtedly aid her recovery.
