The coincidence of the Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur, and their deteriorating circumstances seems to prompt Raizel to to write, "May God always look after you. [It seems] He turned away from here, we imagined things to be differently…" She forwards their parents' request that Sala observe Yom Kippur. Raizel also writes that they will give a certain purse with money to Ala the next time they see her.
