Dearest Salusia, I was very happy about your letter, only I missed your kiss at the end of the letter. You ask me in your letter whether I love you. There are no words for my love and all I can say is that you are my first real love and you will always remain that. I don’t know, dearest Salusia, only I’m somewhat upset that you already said twice that I should go when I feel like it. It isn’t right that you’re persuading me to go, knowing that you can’t presently come with me. I’m only thinking of going when you can come also. I just feel, and I might be wrong there, that Janosch doesn’t like me and nothing good would come of your remaining here. I also feel that it would be a sacrifice for you to come with me and leaving Mila and Janosch behind. I am, as you know only too well, ready for any sacrifice, only I would like to hear loud and clear what it is you want. You know the conditions here and I’m also upset what you told me about L. F.. (no end)
